Siding Contractors in Calgary for Hardie Board, Vinyl and Hail Repair
We’re a siding company in Calgary that starts with the wall, not the brochure. Hail-cracked vinyl, tired stucco, soft sheathing and sagging soffit get looked at from the sheathing out, then re-clad in James Hardie fibre cement, vinyl, LP SmartSide, metal or stone, installed to the manufacturer’s published instructions, across Calgary, Okotoks, Airdrie, Cochrane and Chestermere.
- Installed to manufacturer instructions
- WCB & liability insured
- Flashing and clearances detailed
- Hail damage photographed and documented
Siding Services, by the Job
Six groups of exterior work, from James Hardie fibre cement on a new re-side to hail restoration on a townhouse complex. Each service page explains how the system goes on, what Alberta’s building code expects of the wall behind it, and when you would be better off choosing something else.

Start With the Problem You Have
Most people don’t phone asking for a product. They phone because a storm cracked the siding, the stucco is failing or the soffit is hanging down. These are some of the most common around Calgary.
Hail cracked or holed the vinyl on the storm side
Cheaper vinyl is easily damaged by hail, and wind drives the stones into walls at an angle. We photograph and measure the damage, then re-side with something chosen for the next storm.
Calgary Hail Damage Hardie Board & Siding ReplacementCracked stucco or dated siding you want gone
Going from stucco to fibre cement changes the wall: new membrane, flashing at every horizontal joint, boards fastened to framing. It can also take the job outside the provincial re-siding permit exemption.
HardieBoard & HardiePlank Lap SidingSoft, stained sheathing behind the siding
Rot behind siding is almost always a water problem: a missing kickout flashing, a failed window flashing, a stone base buried in the landscaping. We fix the source, not just the board.
Dry Rot & Substrate Sheathing RestorationDented, sagging or hail-torn soffit
On most Calgary houses the soffit vents are the low openings that let the attic breathe. New panels keep that airflow, and eaves close to a property line get the unvented soffit the code calls for.

Aluminum capping ends the repainting, but it also hides whatever is underneath. Soft wood gets repaired first, and each piece is formed to shed water rather than trap it.
Custom Aluminum Fascia CappingA condo complex whose cladding is coming due
Exterior cladding is a depreciating component in an Alberta condo’s reserve fund study. A written scope phased by building or elevation lets the board plan the work and the money.
Commercial & Multi-Family Siding ProjectsHow a Siding Job Runs With Us
What goes on behind the siding decides how long the wall lasts. Here is what happens between the first call and the day we pack up, and what you get to see at each point.
We Walk the Walls Before We Quote
We walk every wall, look at the flashing over windows and where roofs meet walls, check clearances to grade and decks, and press on anything that looks soft. Where a course can be lifted, we look at the membrane and sheathing behind it. The written quote says what we found and what the wall needs.
Based in Evergreen, Working Across the Southwest
Southwest Calgary has one of the widest ranges of housing ages in the city: post-war bungalows in Killarney and Richmond, infills in Altadore, 1980s and 1990s suburbs such as Shawnessy and Somerset, and 2000s communities like Evergreen and Bridlewood. The decade a house went up says a lot about what we will find behind its siding.
Our office is at 123 Everwoods Green SW in Evergreen, so most of the southwest is a short drive from us. Hail is not only a north-side problem, either: in July 2023 a storm damaged siding and roofs on homes in Calgary’s south centre neighbourhoods.
Siding in southwest Calgary, community by community-
Evergreen
Our home community, largely built through the 2000s. Builder vinyl is common, often with stone or fibre cement on the front elevation.
-
Bridlewood
Mostly 2000s homes where builder vinyl and stone accents are now at the age of hail repairs and first re-sides.
-
Shawnessy
Largely a 1980s and 1990s suburb: early vinyl, stucco and painted wood fascia that is ready for capping or replacement.
-
Somerset
Another 1980s and 1990s suburb, where early vinyl gone brittle and cracked stucco are the usual reasons to call.
-
Woodbine
A 1980s and 1990s community with early vinyl, cedar and stucco, where the sheathing behind is worth a close look.
-
Canyon Meadows
Mostly 1960s and 1970s homes: aluminum, cedar and stucco, and good candidates for a full re-side.
